Physician Biography
Dr. Anand received her medical degree from Chennai Medical College and Research Institute in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and completed her internship at the Government General Hospital in Chennai. She completed her family medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Dr. Anand believes in the importance of educating her patients on their condition so they can be actively involved in their treatment decisions. Her special interests include women’s health, the care of children, diabetes, preventive medicine, and patient and community education.
Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Anand sees patients of all ages and speaks medical Spanish, Tamil and Hindi.
Dr. Anand enjoys traveling, listening to music, cooking and spending time with her family.
