Physician Biography
A San Antonio native, Dr. Barbara Fogiel received her undergraduate degree from Barnard College, Columbia University, in New York City and her medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the New York University (NYU) Downtown Hospital where she served as chief resident during her last year.
Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Fogiel has been in private practice in Houston since 2003 and is affiliated with Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center Hospital.
Dr. Fogiel sees patients from ten years and older and has clinical interests in adolescent health and education.
Married with three daughters, Dr. Fogiel likes to read, cook and play tennis in her spare time.
