Physician Biography
A Houston native, Dr. David Reininger graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston. He then earned his medical degree, with honors, and completed his residency training in internal medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
Board certified in Geriatric and Internal Medicine, Dr. Reininger has been in private practice in Katy since 1981. He is a managing partner of Katy Internal Medicine Associates, LLP.
Dr. Reininger serves as medical director for the West I-10 Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services and is a former chief of staff at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital. He has received the American Medical Association's distinguished physician award every year since 1993. He is also board certified in hospice and palliative
care medicine.
Dr. Reininger is actively involved in charitable projects, and enjoys opera, golf, social dancing and travelling.
