Dr. W C Grinstead

Physician Biography

Dr. Grinstead is board certified in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certifications in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. In private practice for 24 years, he has special expertise in pacemakers, cardiac catheterization and angioplasty stenting. Dr. Grinstead earned his medical doctorate at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his internship and residency training at Parkland Memorial Hospital and Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dallas. During his fellowship training, he focused on congestive heart failure and transplantation at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Dr. Grinstead treats patients 18 years and older, helping them to conquer cardiovascular challenges through advanced diagnostics and effective treatment. A highly dedicated physician, Dr. Grinstead was named a Five-Star Doctor in Medical Diagnosis by the independent healthcare ratings agency, HealthGrades, and he has authored more than three dozen medical articles. He is the father of three children, and an avid reader of history and biographies.
