Outpatient Rehabilitation for Children and Teens
We offer 3 outpatient programs for children and teens at our Kirby Glen location outside of the Texas Medical Center: day rehabilitation, day rehabilitation challenge program and outpatient rehabilitation.
TIRR Memorial Hermann Day Rehabilitation for Children and Teens
Day Rehabilitation is designed to meet the needs of children, from birth to 21 years of age, whose condition calls for the intensity of conventional inpatient rehabilitation, but does not require nursing care.
The program is offered up to five days a week and is for children who need more intensive or specialized services than are available through outpatient therapies or home health services. The child will receive an integrated and intensive rehabilitation program in a clinical setting, combined with emotional support.
Referrals to Day Rehab
We welcome self-referrals as well as referrals by physicians, healthcare professionals, family members, case managers or insurance companies. Prescriptions are required. For questions or appointments, please call the scheduling coordinator at (713) 524-9702.
