Lead Physician: Ali Azizzadeh, M.D.

This study is estimating the 30-day major adverse event rate (death, stroke or heart attack) of stenting with distal protection using the Cordis system in high surgical-risk patients with obstructive carotid artery disease. Information gathered will be used to analyze outcomes of carotid artery stenting and determine predictors of clinical outcomes.
