David F. Mobley, M.D., FACS is a board-certified urologist
practicing in Houston, Texas. He established his practice at Memorial
Hermann Memorial City in 1977, where he is a member of the
Department of Surgery.
Dr. Mobley received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee
Medical School. He did further training in general surgery and urology
at Baylor College of medicine, and studied under Dr. Brantley Scott,
developer of the original inflatable penile prostheses. Dr. Mobley has
been in the practice of urology, focusing on impotence since 1977. During
this time he has counseled thousands of men on the methods of treatment
available for this problem.
Dr. Mobley, along with being certified by the American Board of Urology
is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Inter-American
College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is an executive director of the
Impotence Foundation, and a regional medical director of the Impotence
Institute of America.
Dr. Mobley is involved in many aspects of female urology as well, including
urinary incontinence, urinary infections, interstitial cystitis, as
well as cancers of the urinary system.
Dr. Mobley has served as principal investigator in over 40 FDA sanctioned
studies of drugs and medical devices.
Dr. Mobley has traveled extensively to lecture medical audiences on
many urological disorders, and is the author of many scientific articles
devoted to impotence, BPH, and other subjects in the field of urology.
In addition, Dr. Mobley has received awards and commendations for his
medical research.
He is the host of KSEV’s Houston Health Hour, heard daily at noon
on AM700.
On a personal note, Dr. Mobley is married and has four children he
is very proud of, as well as, a daughter-in-law and a son-in-law. Dr.
Mobley is also a grandfather. He says his grandson is the apple of his
eye!
