Tim P. VanDuivendyk has been with Memorial Hermann Healthcare System since 1972 and currently serves as an ACPE Certified Supervisor and System Executive of Spiritual Care and Chaplaincy. He is an ordained Baptist minister.
After graduating from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, he received his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. He completed a pastoral counseling residency at the Texas Research In Mental Health Science Center (TRIMS) in the Texas Medical Center.
Tim is a Board-Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains and practices as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas.
He has served as the national accreditation chair of the ACPE, regional certification chair of the College of Chaplains and the president of the Southeast Texas Chaplains Association. Tim authored The Unwanted Gift of Grief: A Ministry Approach. He is married with four adult children and three grandchildren.

Paul graduated from Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi, with a Bachelor of Arts degree and from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans with Master of Divinity and Doctor of Philosophy degrees.
He was a Professor of Theology at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary for 15 years before entering Clinical Pastoral Education at The McFarland Institute of Christian Health Ministries in New Orleans. Paul participated in the ACPE Residency and Supervisory Training while at the Institute. Prior to his teaching career he served as Director of Extension Center Education with the Seminary Extension Department in Nashville, Tennessee.
At New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary he held numerous academic appointments including Director of Research Doctoral Programs, Director of the Doctor of Ministry Degree Program, and editor of The Theological Educator.
An ordained Baptist minister, Paul has extensive pastoral experience, having served as pastor of three churches and interim pastor of over a dozen churches through the years. Paul has co-authored the book God So Loved the World: Traditional Baptists and Calvinism, as well as contributed chapters and articles to numerous publications. He is married with two adult children and two grandchildren.

The Reverend Carlos Sanchez is an endorsed chaplain and
ordained pastor by the American Baptist denomination. He has served congregations more than twenty
years in Venezuela, his
birthplace and in the United
States.
He earned his Master of Arts in Old Testament and his Master of Divinity
in Social Ethics from the Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in Lombard, Illinois.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Seminario Evangélico Asociado in Venezuela, South America.
Carlos participated in the Association of Clinical Pastoral
Education (ACPE) Residency and Supervisory Training Programs at Alexian Brothers
Medical Center
in Elk Grove, Illinois.
He was chaplain in the Pediatric
Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care, Cancer
Center and Supervisory Candidate at
the Illinois Masonic Hospital
where he started the ACPE program.
Upon moving to Texas in
2006 he served the Seton Family Hospitals in Austin, Texas
and became a fully certified ACPE Supervisor.
His supervisory and chaplaincy experience includes Coordinator of the ACPE
program at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare in Evanston,
Illinois and chaplain and ACPE Supervisor at Harris
County Hospital District in Houston,
Texas. Carlos began his ministry with Memorial
Hermann Hospital System in 2010 as Director of Chaplaincy at Memorial Hermann
Southwest Hospital
and ACPE Supervisor throughout the Memorial Hermann System. He became
a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association for Professional Chaplains in
2008. He is married with two children.
The Rev. Thomas (Tom) W. Daugherty, B.S., M.Div., Th.M.
Reverend Thomas (Tom) W. Daugherty is retired from the United Methodist Church where he served for 35 years. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Ordained Ministry in the Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
His last pre-retirement appointment was to The Methodist Hospital System in Houston, Texas as Vice President for Spiritual Care and Values Integration. Prior to this Tom served 24 years as Director of Chaplaincy Services at the Methodist Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.
Since retirement Tom has been active as an Intentional Interim Supervisor for ACPE. He served in the Department of Ministry and Pastoral Care at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), Ft. Bliss, in El Paso, Texas and also at the Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana, the Masters of Divinity degree from Perkins School of Theology in Dallas, Texas and the Masters of Theology degree from Brite Divinity School in Fort Worth, Texas.
Certifications include Certified Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc. which granted him Emeritus Status in 2008. He is also a Board Certified Chaplain Life Member of the Association of Professional Chaplains. He has served on various ACPE committees and was chair of the National ACPE Professional Ethics Commission.
Tom is married and has three grown daughters and six grandchildren.
Mark Bolt, B.A., CPE Registrar
Mark graduated from Southeastern
College at Wake Forrest, North Carolina with a
Bachelor of Arts degree in biblical studies and a minor in the history of
ideas.
He completed a Clinical Pastoral Education Residency program
with Memorial Hermann in 2004 and now serves as Registrar for the program.
He is an ordained Baptist minister and is a member of
the Evangelical Philosophical Society. He has two children.
