YMCA Partnership
Memorial Hermann and the YMCA of Greater Houston are community partners
committed to improving the health and wellbeing of people from all walks of life. 
Both organizations are dedicated to improving health and wellness in the
whole person - mind, body and spirit. Through their partnership, Memorial
Hermann and the YMCA offer a network of locations that provide medical
services and wellness programs throughout the community.
Partnership Projects
The E.A. Smith YMCA and Memorial Hermann Southeast offer pediatric physical
therapy and wellness programs. The Smith YMCA will house a 2,200-square-foot clinic
that will offer therapeutic massage, nutrition counseling and weight management,
physical therapy and more. The 1.4 million-dollar expansion will add 10,000 square feet
for a total of 37,000 square feet.
The Downtown YMCA will soon be home to a Memorial Hermann Wellness Center. This project will expand programs and services available at the YMCA and make Memorial Hermann the convenient choice downtown for preventive health screenings, immunizations, travel medicine and physical examinations.
Memorial Hermann The Woodlands and the South Montgomery County YMCA are reviewing opportunities for potential programs and services at a second YMCA site in the Woodlands. A survey is under way to help identify medical and wellness programs for the new YMCA location.
The Ken Lay YMCA is now open in Cinco Ranch. The beautiful facility, offering programs for the entire family, is located at 22807 Westheimer Parkway, Katy, Texas 77494. Call 281-392-5055 for membership and program information.
