Pediatric Imaging

As a member of the Society of Pediatric Sedation, our full time pediatric nurse provides the special care your child needs during and after their imaging procedure.

The pediatric sedation program at Memorial Hermann Imaging Centers includes an appropriate level of sedation services to relax children who may not otherwise be able to remain motionless for the duration of the imaging procedure.  

Our highly qualified pediatric advanced life support sedation nurses and paramedics consider your child’s age, the procedure required and medical condition to determine whether sedation is necessary.  If warranted, sedation is provided for children who one year of age and at least 20 pounds.  

Our Richmond Avenue location is the only Imaging Center that offers imaging exams for newborns.  Our Center also offers a full array of pediatric ultrasound.
