Christopher Shields, DPT

Chris received a degree in psychology from Texas State University and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Shields’ areas of interest and specialization include vestibular and concussion management, spine, and general orthopedic injuries. He is a member of our Spine Program team and the coordinator for the Concussion/Vestibular Program. He has advanced certification/training in Vestibular and Concussion Management, Manual Therapy, and Dry Needling.

Dr. Shields is involved in teaching/research involving concussion and vestibular management. He has given numerous lectures for continuing education on concussion and vestibular management and has presented research at a national meeting and published in a peer-reviewed journal. Chris enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
