Toni Odumosu, M.D. received her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from The University of Texas at Southwestern Medical School. She completed her residency with Houston Methodist Hospital Family Medicine Residency Training Program where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Odumosu realized at an early age that she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. She grew up in a family where her father was an internist, and her mother was a nurse. She was inspired by their passion for helping others and knew she wanted to do the same.
Dr. Odumosu sees patients ages two weeks and older. She treats patients for acute episodic issues and manages chronic illnesses like hyperthyroidism and diabetes. Her special interests include preventive medicine, infectious disease, vaccine management, women’s health and men’s health.
Dr. Odumosu prides herself on compassionate listening and educating her patients. She takes the time to foster trustworthy relationships with her patients and considers herself a health adviser that emphasizes preventive medicine. She works closely with her patients to provide them with information so together they can determine the best treatment plan. For Dr. Odumosu, it is important to empower her patients to become responsible partners in caring for their medical conditions.
In her spare time, Dr. Odumosu enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, participating in outdoor activities and volunteering.
