Originally from Corpus Christi, Krista Koch Tejml, M.D. graduated from Rice University in Houston and received her medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock. She completed her internship and residency training in obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive sciences at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School, Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center where she was named the outstanding intern of 2007-2008.

Dr. Tejml was in private practice in the Clear Lake area north of Houston, Texas before joining Advanced OG/GYN in Houston. She treating patients ten years and older and has a special interest is in minimally invasive surgery.

A junior fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Tejml is also a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, Texas Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Harris County Medical Society.

Dr. Tejml is married with two sons and has a Labrador Retriever. She enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling.
