Dr. Michael Cusick, MD

Dr. Michael C. Cusick earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed his internship and residency training at the University of Tennessee/Campbell Clinic in Memphis. He then completed fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa.

Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Cusick has areas of expertise and clinical interests in fractures, trauma, arthroscopy, reconstruction and total joint replacement of the shoulder and elbow. He treats patients from one year of age and older. He also serves as an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth.

Dr. Cusick is an editorial reviewer for the Journal of Shoulder & Elbow Surgery and has authored numerous articles for peer-reviewed journals. He has provided orthopedic coverage for Rhodes College, the Memphis Redbirds, the Memphis Grizzlies, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New York Yankees at their spring training camp.
