Dr. Steven Schroder graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s in biomedical engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station and attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Following an orthopedic surgery residency at The University of California-Irvine, Dr. Schroder completed a fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston-Harvard University Combined Orthopedic Surgery Program.

Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Schroder has practiced medicine since 2008. He specializes in adult reconstruction and total joint replacement. He provides a wide variety of common and exclusive reconstruction procedures for the joint replacement of the knees and hips.

Dr. Schroder serves as an assistant professor in the department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston. He is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and has authored numerous articles published in medical journals.
