Steph was in denial. She began drinking at a young age, but didn’t think she was an alcoholic. She was even mandated by the court to seek help for her addiction. She did. She relapsed, continuing to believe she didn’t need help.

She entered the Young Adult Program at PaRC with “shame and guilt” so heavy it felt “like a backpack full of bricks” attached to her back. No more. PaRC changed her life. Now Steph says, “It’s very fulfilling to be in recovery.”
