For over a year now, the Greater Houston community has been battling the COVID-19 pandemic that has resulted in thousands of deaths, hospitalizations and life-changing health complications for the people who contract COVID-19. Health experts agree: the best hope we have to protect ourselves, our families, our neighbors and our community from the ravages of this disease is the COVID-19 vaccine.

Unfortunately, we are finding that in our underserved communities where vaccines are needed the most, those residents are among the most hesitant to get vaccinated. Their reasons range from mistrust of government, lack of access to care, concerns about possible side effects and more.

Memorial Hermann is undertaking a special initiative to address vaccine hesitancy by reaching out to people in our community’s most vulnerable, at-risk populations.  But we need your help!

We invite you to join us in our efforts to reach people where they live, learn, work, worship or play. We have created educational resources you can use in English, Spanish and Vietnamese to address vaccine hesitancy among your constituents including:

  • A PowerPoint addressing Frequently Asked Questions about the Vaccine
  • Short videos answering common questions about the vaccine
  • Downloadable handouts that you may print and distribute (if you do not have access to a printer, please contact us to obtain printed copies)
  • Downloadable infographics that may be shared on Social Media platforms
  • Blog content addressing relevant topics around the COVID-19 vaccine that may be shared
  • An email that may be used to share education on the COVID-19 vaccine with a link to join Memorial Hermann’s vaccine waitlist

You may also use the Contact Us form below to request a member of our Speakers Bureau or printed material.  You may also provide feedback on resources needed by you or your organization to help address vaccine hesitancy.

Thank you for your partnership.
