Boy Scout Explorers visit Life Flight helicopterDozens of high school-aged kids spoke with EMTs and members of the Life Flight medical team at a recent meeting of the Memorial Hermann Katy Medical Explorer program.

The Explorer program is offered through the Boy Scouts of America and allows kids ages 14 and older to learn more about a variety of careers in the medical field. The goal is to help those with an interest in the medical field to decide what career they may want to focus on in college. It also positions them to become junior volunteers at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital.
