HUMBLE, TEXAS (May 30, 2014)

The Wellness Center inside Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital now offers line dancing classes taught by Kay Caffey, a popular, local dance instructor.

“Besides the fitness itself, the (line-dancing) class is a great way to foster and nourish new relationships and share in the company of delightful line-dancing enthusiasts,” said Caffey. “Exercise should be fun. Walking on a treadmill doesn't appeal to me, but dancing to lively music does.”

Line dancing classes are free for Wellness Center members, while non-members pay only $5 per class. In addition to line dancing, the schedule at the newly renovated Wellness Center also includes Tai Chi, stretching classes, yoga, and group fitness.
