HOUSTON (July 07, 2015)

Memorial Hermann is set to open a new Convenient Care Center August 3 in Sienna Plantation. The new facility, the Memorial Hermann Convenient Care Center in Sienna Plantation, will be the fourth Convenient Care Center to open in the Memorial Hermann Health System. Memorial Hermann currently operates Convenient Care Centers in Pearland, Summer Creek and most recently Katy.

Memorial Hermann has plans to open two more Convenient Care Centers in Cypress and Spring in 2016.

The success of our existing Convenient Care Centers is proof we’re serving a need in the community,” says Jim Brown, Sr. Vice President, CEO, ambulatory services at Memorial Hermann. “For us it’s about being there for the community, where they need us, when they need us and with the appropriate level of care.”

The CCC will provide access to a vast array of high quality Memorial Hermann services including a full lab, and breast screenings and imaging. Later this year, primary care physicians from the Memorial Hermann Medical Group will also see patients at the CCC in Sienna Plantation.

The CCC in Sienna Plantation will also offer a tomosynthesis unit for mammography screening. Breast tomosynthesis is a new, 3-D digital imaging technology that helps physicians to detect smaller tumors sooner, at the earliest stages of breast cancer.

In addition, the 16,000 square foot facility will offer a full service, 24-hour emergency room.

The Convenient Care Center will provide many of the high quality services Memorial Hermann is known for under one roof,” says Greg Haralson, Sr. Vice President, CEO, Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital. “The location will also allow for easy access and transfer to other Memorial Hermann hospitals should the patient require an even higher level of care.” The Memorial Hermann CCC in Sienna Plantation will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and is located at 8780 Highway 6, Suite B, in Missouri City.
