HOUSTON (January 16, 2023)

Harris County is the most populous and one of the fastest-growing counties in Texas, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. As the area continues to grow, Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care opened a new center today in Kingwood to bring affordable, convenient care to families and residents throughout the community. The new center is located at 30129 Rock Creek Drive (Suite 200), just west of Highway 69 at Northpark Drive, in the H-E-B shopping center.

“Communities and families benefit from easy access to high-quality healthcare, when and where they need it,” said Betsy Koickel, MD, Medical Director, Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care. “We feel fortunate to serve the families and residents who live and work amid the abundant trees and lakes of beautiful Kingwood. We look forward to expanding our partnership with Memorial Hermann across the Greater Houston area.”

Additional Memorial Hermann-GoHealth centers are coming soon to several communities in the Greater Houston area, including The Woodlands, Willis, and Magnolia Place. Additional centers opened recently in The Heights, Tanglewood and Royal Oaks.

About the Kingwood location

The new center offers patients ages 6 months and older a wide array of services for non-life-threatening conditions, on-site X-ray services, COVID-19 testing and treatment, and more. It is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. In addition to treating non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, the center offers sports physicals for kids and flu vaccines.

Seamless convenience and connections

The new center provides Kingwood residents with a more affordable option for safe and efficient care outside of higher-cost settings like the emergency department. It also provides a direct connection to Memorial Hermann’s robust network of care, which regularly earns regional and national recognition for excellence in quality and safety, research and innovation.

“These centers provide Greater Houston area residents with an affordable option for safe and efficient health care close to home for non-emergent conditions,” said Dr. Michael Bublewicz, Chief Medical Officer, Memorial Hermann Health System Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care. “Memorial Hermann’s commitment to delivering high-quality care coupled with GoHealth’s advanced technology and expertise in urgent care will provide patients of all ages with the best possible health care experience.”

Patients seeking care can be seen quickly and easily by walking into any Memorial Hermann-GoHealth center or going online to save a spot and pre-register. For details about all Memorial Hermann-GoHealth locations, visit gohealthuc.com/memorialhermann.
