PEARLAND, TEXAS (November 10, 2015)

Memorial Hermann Pearland Hospital today announced three appointments to the hospital’s leadership team. Glenn Burnett, MBA, will serve as Vice President of Finance, Martha Smith, RN, MSN, NEA-BC, will serve as Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, and Shane Crisp, RN, MBA, will serve as Vice President of Operations.

Burnett is currently the Vice President of Finance at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital and will continue in his role while also serving Memorial Hermann Pearland. Burnett holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

Smith will officially begin her role as Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer November 13. Smith most recently served as the Chief Nursing Officer and interim Chief Operating Officer for Park Plaza Hospital in Houston. Smith brings 18 years of combined experience in clinical and senior level management to Memorial Hermann Pearland. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro and a Master of Science degree in Nursing Administration from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi.

Prior to his promotion to Vice President of Operations at Memorial Hermann Pearland, Crisp most recently served as the administrative director of medical staff services, risk management and patient relations at Memorial Hermann Southeast. Crisp joined Memorial Hermann in 2001 where he served as a director of perioperative services at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center. He holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in business administration from California Coast University in Santa Ana, California, as well as a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Excelsior College in New York.
