KATY, TEXAS (August 13, 2018)

The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International announced that Memorial Hermann Rehabilitation Hospital-Katy has been accredited for a period of three years for its inpatient rehabilitation programs-hospital (adult). The hospital is part of the Memorial Hermann Rehabilitation Network affiliated with TIRR Memorial Hermann.

This is the first accreditation that the international accrediting body, CARF, has awarded to the hospital.

“By receiving this accreditation, the team at Memorial Hermann Rehab Hospital-Katy has confirmed their ability to provide innovative, high quality rehabilitation care to our patients,” says Jerry Ashworth, CEO, TIRR Memorial Hermann and Memorial Hermann Rehab Hospital-Katy. “I am extremely proud of the hard work they put forth to achieve this recognition.”

Representing the highest level of rehabilitation facility accreditation awarded by CARF, this recognition validates that an organization has demonstrated its conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a three-year accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.
