Rhonda Abbott, senior vice president and CEO of TIRR Memorial Hermann; Marissa Kiefer, senior vice president and CEO of Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital; and Malisha Patel, senior vice president and CEO of Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital and Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital, were recently named to the “Women Hospital Presidents and CEOs to Know” list by Becker’s Healthcare.
According to Becker’s, the presidents and CEOs featured on this list are responsible for growing their hospitals, fostering positive workforce cultures, expanding services and facilities, increasing provider and patient satisfaction levels, and more. The list honors female hospital executives for their dedication to bettering their hospitals for patients and providers alike.

Abbott leads TIRR Memorial Hermann, which is ranked No. 2 among the country’s top rehabilitation hospitals in U.S. News & World Report’s best hospital rankings for 2021-2022. Kiefer runs Children’s Memorial Hermann, which cares for women and children with more than 40 specialties and Patel was instrumental in leading Memorial Hermann Sugar Land to win the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, which recognizes performance excellence.
