Dr. Stephen Pickett, MD

Indiana native Dr. Stephen Pickett earned his undergraduate degree at Baylor University in Waco and his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He also completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine. During his post-doctoral training, he received the Outstanding Resident Award and served as Chief Interventional Cardiology Fellow.

Dr. Pickett, who has been in practice since 2015, is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. With primary clinical interests in coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease and heart failure, he specializes in complex coronary artery interventions, transcather aortic valve replacements (TAVR) and pacemaker implantations. He performs heart catheterization through the radial artery, a procedure that increases patient safety and comfort.

Dr. Pickett’s hobbies include hiking and spending time with his son.
