Dr. Selina Lin, MD

Dr. Selina Lin obtained her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Mass., and she received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas. She then completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University Of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine in Birmingham, Ala.

Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Lin has been caring for patients ages 14 and up for 25 years. She specializes in high-risk pregnancies, vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) and management of menopausal symptoms. In addition, Dr. Lin is trained in robotic-assisted surgery using daVinci® Surgical System, minimally invasive surgical technology.

Her patients enjoy Dr. Lin’s down-to-earth nature, thoroughness and her dedication to building collaborative relationships with each patient and their care team.

Throughout her career, Dr. Lin has been honored with multiple recognitions and awards. Currently, Dr. Lin serves as the Vice Chief of Staff for Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital and the head of Memorial Hermann Katy’s Credentialing Committee. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association. She served as the Obstetric Chairperson for Memorial Hermann Katy in 2013 and 2014. In 2012, she was named Memorial Hermann Katy’s Physician of the Year. In 2018, she will serve as the Chief of Staff for Memorial Hermann Katy.

When not caring for her patients, Dr. Lin is very involved in global medical missions and enjoys playing the violin. Most importantly, Dr. Lin loves spending time with her family.
