Dr. Thomas White earned his medical degree from McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). He completed his internship and residency in anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and a fellowship in interventional pain medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Dr. White, who has been in practice since 2013, is board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine and treats adult patients 18 and older. His primary clinical interests are differential targeted multiplex (DTM) spinal cord stimulation therapy, intrathecal pump management and implantation, sacroiliac joint posterior fusion, lateral arthrodesis, interspinous spacers and radiofrequency ablation.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. White has served as a principal investigator in clinical trials for medical device pain therapies, as well as for a medical device spinal cord stimulator DTM-low energy study, the SGX medical spinal cord stimulator study and the SGX medical spinal cord stimulator study. He serves as a general medical education consultant in the areas of spinal cord stimulation and intrathecal pump therapy.
