Dr. Peter Jung, MD

Born in Passaic, New Jersey, Dr. Peter Jung carries on a family tradition by following the  footsteps of his father, a pediatrician. After moving to Houston, he attended Memorial High School and graduated from Rice University where he majored in Biology. Dr. Jung received his medical degree and his residency training in pediatrics from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. 

Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Jung is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He began private practice in partnership with his father in 2002. After his father’s retirement in 2004, Dr. Jung established Blue Fish Pediatrics with fellow pediatrician William Pielop, M.D.

Dr. Jung and his wife have three children. He is active in the New Life Fellowship Baptist Church, where he leads the drama team and helps teach the youth group. In his free time, he enjoys playing flag football, basketball, softball, fantasy baseball, and writing dramas.
