Dr. Qaiser Rehman earned his medical degree at Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), followed by a fellowship in rheumatology at the University of California San Francisco.
Dr. Rehman, who has been in practice since 1995, is board certified in rheumatology and a fellow of the American College of Physicians. His primary clinical interests include all types of arthritis, soft-tissue rheumatism, autoimmune disease, inflammatory vasculitis, metabolic bone disease and muscle diseases. Dr. Rehman and his staff are multilingual and can accommodate Spanish, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and Arabic in addition to English.
Because he believes that no two patients are alike, even with the same pathology, he provides individual attention, personalized treatment and holistic care. In his team approach, he includes the patient as an important part of decision-making and treatment plans. Patients appreciate that he addresses all their issues and concerns, and they never feel rushed or unheard.
A resident of northwest Houston, Dr. Rehman is married and the father of two daughters. When he is away from his practice, his favorite activities are reading, family time and vacations.
