Dr. Lacefield treats patients of all ages for the broad spectrum of urological conditions, including kidney stones, enlarged prostate and incontinence. His primary clinical interests are recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs), urethral stricture disease, advanced stone surgery, prosthetics, active surveillance prostate cancer and female urology. He offers UroLift®, a simple in-office procedure for enlarged prostate, as well as advanced kidney stone surgery and urethral reconstruction. He speaks Spanish.

A teacher sparked Dr. Lacefield’s enduring love of science during his freshman year in high school. While he was in undergraduate school, he decided to apply that love of science to helping people—a career path he describes as a “great choice.”

His approach to care is to take time to listen to patients and let them know he cares about what they have to say. He puts them at ease with what he hopes are the “best jokes” (they aren’t).

He is a member of the American Urology Association, Sexual Medicine Society of North America and Endourological Society.
