Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation at Convenient Care Center in Katy offers a full spectrum of physical and occupational therapy services for patients recovering from on-the-job, sports-related and other injuries.
Please note that all patients under the age of 16 are required to be accompanied by an adult, adult family member or legal guardian during their treatment time. Patients 16 years of age or older are required to be accompanied by an adult during their initial appointment for paper work and consent purposes. After the initial visit, adult supervision may no longer be required. If an adult is not present with the patient as listed by our age requirements, the patient may be asked to be rescheduled.
Stacey Heffernan, PT, DPT, OCS, COMT earned her doctorate degree in physical therapy from Boston University and has been practicing since 2002. She completed a manual therapy residency program and is board certified in orthopedics. Stacey utilizes manual therapy and evidence based practice on patients of all ages. She has had experience in acute care, rehab, and outpatient orthopedic settings.
Camille Smith, PT, DPT, CSCS earned her doctorate in physical therapy from TWU and has been in practice since 2005. She is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist. Camille has been working at Memorial Hermann in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation since 2010. Her work experience has been in the outpatient orthopedic setting with a focus on orthopedic/sports medicine for patients of all ages and fitness levels.
Sean Schulte, PT has a master’s in physical therapy and has completed advanced training in differential diagnosis. He is a certified athletic trainer, a sport-certified clinical specialist and has a certificate in functional dry needling. Sean uses the McKenzie Method and focuses on sports medicine for treating the neck/shoulder, knee and foot/ankle areas. In practice since 1999, he sees patients ages 8 and older. In addition to regular clinic hours, he is available to schedule early morning and evening appointments.
Matt Smith, PTA, ATC, LAT earned his Bachelor of Science in kinesiology with an emphasis in athletic training from Sam Houston State University, and also obtained an Associate of Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant. He has over 30 years of experience in athletic training, serving as an intern with the Houston Oilers and as an assistant athletic trainer with the Houston Aeros hockey club. Matt has worked and collaborated with UT Health and Memorial Hermann physicians, serving Houston, Cy-Fair, Lamar Consolidated, and Katy ISDs. He has been with the Memorial Hermann system as an athletic trainer and physical therapy assistant since 2013.
