In honor of National Women’s Health Week and throughout the month of May, we encourage women to focus on the importance of incorporating simple preventive and positive health behaviors into everyday life.

Women should discuss with their healthcare professionals which tests are right for them, when they should have them, and how often.

  • To be addressed annually:
    • Anemia risk
    • Depression screen
    • General physical
    • Obesity
    • Skin*
  • Twice per year:
    • Dental exam
  • Every 3 to 5 years or based on need or risk:
    • Blood pressure
    • Cholesterol panel
    • Eye exam
    • HIV
    • Immunizations/vaccines
    • Mammography**
    • Pap smear
