Jennifer Van Fossen, MSN, APRN

Advanced practice provider Jennifer Van Fossen is a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse (APRN), who also holds certificates in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support and microneedling.

Jennifer earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Mount Carmel School of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio. She has been a registered nurse since 2012 and a nurse practitioner since 2017. Her nursing background includes experience in urgent care, post-anesthesia care, surgical intensive care and endoscopy. Her primary clinical interest is preventative medicine—helping patients prevent chronic diseases and their complications. 

In her approach to patient care, Jennifer combines shared decision-making with evidence-based medicine. An attentive listener, she addresses patients’ needs in a way they understand and provides them with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health. 

Jennifer, who moved to Texas from Columbus, Ohio, in mid-2022, is married and lives in Katy. Her family enjoys spending their leisure time at the trampoline park, as well as hiking, yoga, trying different pizza places and playing with their three rescue dogs.
