Talal has a doctorate in physical therapy and has completed advanced training in differential diagnosis. In practice since 2009, he is board certified in both orthopedic physical therapy and sports physical therapy and is certified in dry needling. He offers dry needling, AlterG and Graston Technique/IASTM for the hip and knee areas, with the goal of returning patients to an active lifestyle. Talal treats patients of all levels and specializes in working with active individuals to achieve their goals.
He enjoys educating patients on preventative injury strategies and screening, as well as mentoring and clinical teaching. Currently, Talal serves as clinical director of the faculty for Memorial Hermann’s residency programs and mentors other therapists on treatment of the hip. During his career, Talal has also taught at Rice University and has contributed research and content to publications in his field.
Talal sees patients age 8 and up and is available to schedule early morning, evening and weekend appointments in addition to regular clinic hours.
