Dr. Emily Robinson earned her medical degree, with honors, from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School and completed her residency training in general surgery at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. She completed her surgical oncology and breast fellowships at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, and a general surgery fellowship at UTHealth Medical School.
Board certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Robinson has practiced medicine in Houston since 2001. Her clinical interests include breast cancer, breast conservation surgery, oncoplastic breast surgery, sentinel node biopsy, thyroid surgery and minimally invasive parathyroid surgery. She is an assistant professor of surgery and member of the faculty at UTHealth Medical School.
Dr. Robinson’s practice philosophy is to provide understanding and compassionate care to patients, who are age 10 and older, and their families during the course of treatment. She emphasizes the importance of taking the time to listen and respond to each patient’s concerns. She offers patients the least-invasive surgery options, featuring state-of-the-art surgical therapies and the safest techniques.
A resident of Bellaire, Dr. Robinson enjoys spending time with her two sons and playing golf.
