Dr. Shahzeb Naqvi, MD

Dr. Shahzeb R. Naqvi earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Illinois/Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Naqvi then completed his fellowship training in nephrology at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.

 Board certified in internal medicine and nephrology, Dr.Naqvi has been in practice since 1991. He specializes in the diagnosis and medical treatment of all kidney diseases, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. He also treats patients who have had kidney transplants.

 Dr. Naqvi is committed to offering consultation, medical treatment and care to help prevent his patients from needing dialysis. If dialysis is required, he can offer treatment options for those who choose to have their treatments in a dialysis center, hospital or at home.
