Dr. Yoann Millet earned his medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. He completed his internship in general surgery at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center, his residency in anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and a fellowship in interventional pain management at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
Dr. Millet is board certified in three areas: anesthesiology, pain medicine and addiction medicine. In practice since 2013, he treats patients 18 and older and speaks French and Spanish. His clinical interests include spinal cord stimulation, dorsal root ganglion stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, vertebral augmentation, minimally invasive spine procedures and regenerative medicine.
Fully committed to providing compassionate, personal, multidisciplinary care to his patients with chronic pain in Houston, Dr. Millet takes an integrative and holistic approach to treatment. He has experience with multimodal pain management, including medication regimens, traditional fluoroscopic injections, ultrasound-guided procedures, spinal cord/peripheral nerve stimulators, intrathecal pumps, vertebral augmentation, minimally invasive pain surgery and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Millet has participated extensively in research; published numerous abstracts, manuscripts and book chapters; and serves as an investigator in clinical trials on spinal cord stimulation. He is a member of the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience, American Society of Anesthesiologists, Texas Society of Anesthesiologists and North American Neuromodulation Society.
