Due to a national shortage of contrast media (sometimes referred to as X-ray dye), Memorial Hermann has temporarily suspended elective, non-urgent CT and fluoroscopy exams that require contrast media, both at our hospital facilities and at our outpatient imaging sites. Memorial Hermann is working with our physician partners to order alternative imaging exams, if appropriate, such as non-contrasted CT scans, ultrasounds or MRIs.
For questions about scheduling an appointment for a CT or MRI with contrast, call (713) 512-6040.
