Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation at Convenient Care Center in Kingwood offers a wide array of services from general therapy to specialty programs, with highly skilled and certified therapists. As part of patient-centered care, therapists perform comprehensive evaluations to determine appropriate treatment to individually address a patient's specific goals.
Please note that all patients under the age of 16 are required to be accompanied by an adult, adult family member or legal guardian during their treatment time. Patients 16 years of age or older are required to be accompanied by an adult during their initial appointment for paper work and consent purposes. After the initial visit, adult supervision may no longer be required. If an adult is not present with the patient as listed by our age requirements, the patient may be asked to be rescheduled.
Sheri Byrd, PT is a board certified specialist in both orthopedic and sports physical therapy and has been a part of the Memorial Hermann team since 2012. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2003 and from The University of Texas Medical Branch with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2005. She completed more extensive orthopedic training at the Manual Therapy Institute and has been a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic and Manual Physical Therapists since 2015. Sheri focuses on clinical management of patients with acute and chronic orthopedic and sports injuries. Her current interests include clinical mentorship and building alliances between physical therapists, physicians, and athletic training professionals to return athletes to their full potential.
Jeff Faber, PT, DPT, ATC has a Bachelor of Science in athletic training and a doctorate in physical therapy. He is a Physical Therapist and certified athletic trainer, specializing in rehabilitation of sports and orthopedic injuries. He is also certified in integrative dry needling, concussion therapy, and vestibular therapy. In practice since 2016, Jeff provides dry needling, Graston Technique/IASTM and orthopedic manual rehabilitation of the neck/shoulder, thoracic/lumbar spine, hip, knee, and foot/ankle areas. In addition to regular clinic hours, he is available to schedule early morning appointments.
Trisha Goldsmith, PT has a masters and doctorate in physical therapy, in addition to a bachelor's degree in exercise and sports medicine. She is board certified in physical therapy and has completed advanced training in differential diagnosis. In practice since 2006, she sees patients ages 16 and older. She performs vestibular rehabilitation, treats TMJ, and provides Graston Technique/IASTM and other services in the neck/shoulder, hip and knee areas. In addition to regular clinic hours, Trisha is available for early morning appointments.
Stephanie King, PT has been in practice since 2013. She provides therapy for conditions of the hip, knee, foot and ankle areas.
Lynsie Renschler, PTA has a bachelor’s degree in Health and Science, and previously worked as an Athletic Sports Performance Trainer for Memorial Hermann from 2008- 2013. She has been in practice as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant since 2013. Lynsie provides orthopedic manual therapy in the neck/shoulder, thoracic/lumbar, knee and ankle areas. In addition to regular clinic hours, she is available to schedule evening appointments.
