A 260-bed facility, Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital, located adjacent to The Houston Heights, has provided award-winning care to families in the community for over 50 years. More than 600 affiliated doctors provide a wide range of medical specialties, including heart and vascular, cancer treatment, total joint replacement, rehabilitation and women's care.
A 165,000-square-foot South Tower houses our Family Birthing Center, Ambulatory Medicine Center, Outpatient Testing Center and a orthopedic/surgical unit. The North Tower features an intensive care unit, three new surgical rooms and expanded food services.
An 804-car parking garage and administrative building have improved access for patients, family, physicians and staff.
Memorial Hermann Greater Heights also offers wireless Internet access in most areas of the campus, including the main hospital building.

Magnet® is the most prestigious recognition granted by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is one of the highest honors a hospital can be recognized with for demonstrating our commitment nursing and to providing the highest quality of care to our patients and community.
As a part of providing Community Benefit to enhance the health and well-being of the residents of the Greater Houston area, Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital is required by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act to identify the community’s health needs and strengths by conducting a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to prioritize health issues, to provide a foundation for the development of a community health improvement plan, and to assist community organizations in their program planning. This review is a summary of 2020-21 for Memorial Hermann Greater Heights, along with Campus and System accolades. As we reflect on the past year, I am proud of what we have achieved together and excited for the future.
Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital is located just east of the intersection of Highway 290 and North Loop 610 at Ella Boulevard.
From the north, travel IH 45 south to IH 610 west. Exit Ella Boulevard, turn left onto Ella. Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital will be on the right.
From the south, travel US 59 north to IH 610 west to IH 610 north. Exit Ella Boulevard. Memorial Hermann Greater Heights will be on the right.
From the east, travel IH 10 west to IH 610 north. Exit Ella Boulevard, turn right onto Ella. Memorial Hermann Greater Heights will be on the right.
From the west, travel IH 10 east to IH 610 north. Exit Ella Boulevard, turn right onto Ella. Memorial Hermann Greater Heights will be on the right.
From 18th Street,turn north onto Ella Blvd, turn left onto W 26th St. Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital Garage Two will be on the right.
Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital charges up $6 per day for parking in the main surface lot in front of the hospital, Garage I and Garage II, with the first 30 minutes free. The fee is required to offset costs associated with staffing the parking facilities.
The hours of operation for the front lot and parking garages:
6 AM – 9 p.m.
Between 9 p.m. – and 6 a.m. the lot and garages are machine operated.
Visitors will be able to leave the garages, but only employees will be able to park after 9 p.m. and before 6 a.m.
In addition, a lot for outpatients visiting the Ambulatory Medicine Center, Outpatient Testing Center, lab or imaging services will now have access to parking outside of the South Tower. Patients should exit the lot using complimentary tokens received at the time of service. All others parking in the Outpatient lot will pay $20 daily.
Emergency Room patients should park on the surface lot.
