Memorial Hermann Health System has announced a joint venture with DASCO Home Medical Equipment, a leading national home medical equipment company. The partnership is designed to strengthen coordination between hospital care teams and home medical equipment services, support seamless patient transitions from hospital to home and further expand service throughout Greater Houston.
The joint venture combines Memorial Hermann’s understanding of the communities we serve, trusted patient relationships and pursuit of high-value care with DASCO’s expertise in home medical equipment services.
Memorial Hermann and DASCO will establish a jointly owned partnership, with DASCO assuming operational responsibility by providing home medical and respiratory equipment. Importantly, Memorial Hermann will remain focused on care delivery, so that patients and their families can continue to access high quality care from the health care providers they know and trust. Patients will continue to receive personalized guidance in selecting equipment that meets their clinical needs, along with education and ongoing support.
