Memorial Hermann Southwest offers state-of-the art treatment for any type of acute ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke as well as subarachnoid hemorrhage. Our team has a wide-array of treatment options including clot dissolving medication, and mechanical thrombectomy which greatly improve outcomes and long term recovery.
Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital has undergone rigorous surveys in which stroke specialists reviewed the hospital’s compliance with stringent Comprehensive Stroke Center standards and requirements, including specific publicly shared stroke outcomes. In 2022, the hospital experienced no stroke complications for patients undergoing a carotid endarterectomy (surgical procedure that restores normal blood flow through the arteries that carry blood to your brain that may be blocked due to a build-up of fatty deposits/plaque).

Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, a recognized leader in the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumors, also provides treatment for children with a range of neurological disorders such as spasticity, brain tumors, movement disorders, epilepsy, hydrocephalus, head injuries, craniosynostosis, and spina bifida.
