Getting through the holidays can be extremely tough when your child or family member is hospitalized. To make the burden easier on families at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, a pop-up shop is organized so families can come and pick out gifts for our patients. Thousands of gifts are donated by our community partners each year, making sure the shop is constantly stocked for the holidays. This impacts and benefits hundreds of families at Memorial Hermann. The Child Life team at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital also assists in wrapping presents, making hospital stays a little bit more bearable during the season. This includes an interview with Lucia Ramirez, Volunteer Coordinator with Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital.
