The Fertitta Family and the Houston Rockets partnered with Memorial Hermann Health System and the City of Houston for renovations at Highland Park basketball court. The renovations include repairs and improvements to both the pavilion and the court, including the addition of new basketball goals. This initiative marks the Rockets’ second collaboration with Memorial Hermann to revitalize basketball courts. Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of the upgraded court, Jabari Smith Jr. hosted a basketball clinic for youth from the Houston Parks and Recreation Department afterschool program. The renovations at Highland Park were made possible through contributions by the Rockets Clutch City Foundation, Memorial Hermann’s Community Benefit Corporation, and the City of Houston.
